A home inspection, is a thorough visual accessment of a home conducted by a licensed home inspector at a specific point in time.  A home inspection will typically include a walk-through of the house, in which the condition of the property is closely observed. Your home inspection will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. Inspections start at the roof, continuing through the house and finishing in the basement.  Any defects and deficiencies are noted and recommendations for repair are made.  During the home inspection, I will look for any problems that could have an significant impact from a health and safety perspective or purely from a financial standpoint.  I encourage my client to accompany me during the home inspection.  This will give you a chance to ask questions and get detailed information about maintaining the home and it's systems.
